Ellie has her first ear infection, in her left ear, and will be on amoxycillin for the next ten days. She was diagnosed yesterday afternoon after she was booted from the classroom for possible coxsacie. I guess a few other kids are infected and they saw some sores on the roof of her mouth. Doc says the small mouth sores are non-specific and are probably related to her recent cold and the ear infection, so no coxsacie. She had a restless night but woke up happy and went off to school this morning as usual. She says "Yummy" to her medicine, thank god.
