Sewing experiment
I've been wanting to try and figure out how to make one of those dresses that has the deep V neckline with fur cuffs and things, kind of like this:
So I bought some cheap cotton and made my first attempt today. The good: I can make a dress where you have to attach the sleeves and skirt separately. I can also make these pieces fit me correctly. Yay! The not so good: The dress doesn't look like that, and I can't quite figure out why. I have his odd cross between Italian and what I want right now. This cotton version will never be wearable, I know, but I want to keep working on it until I can figure out how to make what I want.
