I find it completely amazing how I can be so off base and God can still use me...
Yesterday, for the third time this week I had the opportunity to play my guitar and sing in worship with Matt Gross. I don't get the opportunity to play my guitar often and I admit I was a little nervous. These were big groups and I haven't played guitar in a worship team since I left my church in Alabama. So, the whole night I'm going over parts in my head, working out where I need to sing harmony and where I am singing alone, and trying to memorize chords. These and other things still shooting through my mind when we starting playing in worship last night. I'm all preoccupied, then I realized what was actually going on...
I look over the crowd and I see the everyone on their faces at the alter giving their all to God. People were crying, praying, and giving everything to Christ and I'm worried if I can play my part! At that point I decided to stop. Stop worrying and fretting over small things and just give it all to Jesus. He moved in the most incredible way last night, and I'm just glad that regardless of how simple minded I am God can still use me. No matter how far I miss the mark, His WILL will be done...
Thank you Lord... I needed that.
