Berto, the little beta that could.
The man said the reason why his fins were so small for a beta might be because of the shark fish he was in a tank with biting at him! So I rescued him-- he is very plain blue, small fins, and in a tank with bullies.
I loooove him. I got him a HUGE HUGE HUGE 2 gallon fish bowl with a plant/play thing that he enjoys very much and he's already eaten, so I know he's not anorexic like Limpit was. The guy said if those assholes really had injured him, he might not be the best bet because of that, BUT he was swimming well so that's a good sign. I will nurse him back to health. SEE ALEX. Without me, he might have no fins left by the time someone decided to get him. He was the least colorful, but he's definitely the best one in there. Oh, and Megan got a pink/white one. Huh?
I don't know. Hers is named something Spanish, I think. ANYWAY--
Berto was very happy to get in his new tank and eat all FOUR of his fish pellets.
He even liked getting some pictures taken. I will post them later.
