I just finished reading the perks of being a wall flower. I loved it. It helped to calm me down for the plane ride. I had been reading about 5 other books that just weren't appealing to me. I have a hard time putting something aside that I've started, so I just trudge through, until I find another book, and then I read them both. When I'm reading 5 books at once, it's a little overwhelming. So I'm in the process of reading Chronicles of the wind up bird. I'm about a fourth of the way through it. It started getting really good but it started out really slow. I'm glad I didn't quit. I finished the unbearable lightness of being. It wasn't that interesting until the photo-shoot. I'm not going to expound, in case you are planning on reading it. It definitely got better in the middle when the story is told from the man's perspective. It seems more personal and real. The historical context in which it takes place is also very fascinating. Emma is rushing me so I won't tell you about the other three boring books.
Any way I guess it was just nice to pick up a book, that wasn't dull. It absorbed me into it right away, and I wasn't AWARE I was reading it. There are a few books I haven't read that were mentioned in that book. So maybe I'll try them. Come to think of it...That book could have just as easily been a live journal. Maybe slightly edited. Like if I were attempting to make this interesting, I would take all that crap out about those uninteresting books. Maybe this would be one of the journals, I didn't include in the book.
Anyway were in San Francisco. In some strange way, it feels right for me. I just know it. It's really expensive though... But as the saying goes. where there's..I don't have to finish it do I? Emma is looking over my shoulder bitching at me about how would I have an accurate perception of all that, "you've only been here for two seconds!" I said this is a fucking live journal, I can change my mind. Emma thinks she's going to be the villain in my live journal. That would be appropriate since villains are usual complex and intelligent.
I get to see my good pal chol soon. Tee hee...
Ok, til next time...
