I'm starting to notice that people are accusing those who do not want the government to dole out to the disadvantaged are confusing this with being cold hearted. The difference is, those of us who understand how much government mismanages and wastes cash would rather give our money to organizations ALREADY in place for such things that use these funds WAY more effectively than the governmental red tape EVER could. Perhaps those who want the government to take care of the disadvantage just don't want to have to do it themselves? Jesus fed the poor and hungry, but he didn't ask the government to do it for him. He got off his ass and did it himself. I honestly think that those who want to have the government do all of this are just lazy.
