2011 Lessons

Dec 31, 2011 20:11

As I have mentioned in a different post, I have laughed, cried and smiled the most this year. With the help of too many amazing people I have started stepping out of my comfort zone to try new things, and have won several small victories in the process.

I am not exaggerating when I say that 2011 was epic. I am proud of my adventures and the scars that come with it (literally and figuratively). It has reminded me that prayers do wonders; and that, sometimes, we just have to let things take its course.

I have spent 2011 figuring out what I want vis-à-vis the things that I prioritize, and I have realized that as much as I am on track, I need to spend my time and other resources more wisely. I need to invest more on the things that matter the most.

I like to think that I am less naïve now, and that I am more grounded and happier.

I look forward to better days this 2012.
