little update
Coffee House was tonight. I always end up having a good time matter how long it feels or how bad the bands are. For not having any big name bands to hold the show down, i think it went ok. Ian was phenom and there was this crazy dancing that was cool. We made a lot of money, so thank you very much to all who came! it really means a lot to the muse and me personally! I know it's not always a super popular event, but we enjoy ourselves. There were only two people who got on my nerves.. one ran around and just acted high and gahhh.. while the other is a girl who is now on the speech team. She came 3 hours late because of speech, (i KNOW none of you guys have ever had 3 hour practices.) but anyways, when she did come.. she did nothing. not a single thing. She just walked around and acted all snotty and look at me i'm amazing when in reality.. mm girl no. And she kept taking food.. i was like girl please. pay up because you annoy me. but it was ok because i just hung out with whitley and lauren the whole time and they are hillarious.
most strange thing asked of me at this coffee house...
*so to set the scene, i am just chilling behind the food counter with my feet up and just listening to the band.. sort of zoned.. and this kid stumbles up to the counter.."
"Hey.. hey do you have tylenol?"
"um, what?"
"Tylenol...do you have tylenol??"
"Uh, no. We only have brownies and really bad chai tea.. sorry."
"I can't believe you guys don't have tylenol."
"Why do you think we would have tylenol?! we are a concession stand at a school fundraiser concert?"
"Well.. you look like you would keep tylenol here in the cups."
"Here.. in the cups?"
"Or in the boxes or napkins..but seriously any tylenol??"
sigh..i sometimes wonder if it's a requirement to be really stupid or be completely high to enter.
