Ahh Collingwood.
I Love Collingwood. I wish I could move out here. It's so beautiful, clean and relaxing. Even when we have a full day planned it's still relaxing.
Yesterday we went swimming. I hit the gym here before swimming. We went for a walk on the path around here with the dog (Sammy, Dave's Parent's silver standard poodle) We went and watched Sammy's Agility class. Nate opened his birthday gifts so he could play with them all week. Played 2 games of scotland yard that may have kept us up until 3:30am.
Today Nate got up early and went for a dog walk with Dave's Dad. We're going to just relax around the house for a while until Sammy has to go to work (Sammy is a Therapy dog that visits the hospital around here and also has his children certification.) Nate is going to go to the Day camp at the community center down the road from 1-4 a couple days this week and maybe visit the 1 hour Kids Craft program on saturday or sunday.
I'm very happy that this day camp is here. it surprisingly takes non-potty trained kids (not that that is really a problem with Nate these days) They take them swimming, do crafts and play in the playground. I only saw 4 kids in there yesterday but they were all around Nate's age and they looked like they were having a lot of fun! I also like that it's short I wouldn't have put him in it if it was 9-4. It's just long enough that we can hit the gym, have a short swim and maybe play some pool or Foosball.
Most importantly it give Nate a chance to play with other kids everyday :)
Dave's parents have pulled out all the really cool toys from Dave's childhood. there are 3 bins in our room and a tonne more down in the basement family room.
There's some sort of surprise planned for thursday and My sister is going to be in Wasaga this weekend we I hope we see her.
I've got to go now or I'll miss the building of the marble works!
