I'm pretty sure I did. I couldn't actually remember several months of my life back home before coming to Econtra the first time. I think I used that to pay for my wish, but I did find out I was returned about the same time when I should have met Valerie, so it couldn't have been too much a different.

I see.

That's how it is, then.

Well, if that's the case, then that means I'm going to die when I get back.

One of Jing's friends, Alphonse, came back to Econtra after a long time away an' he said he remembered this place.

Tomatoes, huh? Makes me wonder why I'm in the cookin' business.

How're you?

Sounds like what happened to Dani.

You're in the cooking business? What do you do? I can't cook even if my life depended on it. It's sad.

I'm okay. How about you?

I, uh, cook... in my world I was working in a little café place... here I ended up gettin' hired by that pink guy Siegfried-something so I've been makin' his meals mostly.

Heh, that's just like Jing. He burns water, seriously. But I bet you'd learn the basics if you just had someone to show you.

M'all right. Tryin' to keep busy and such. [pause] Someone did somethin' nice for me earlier this week, so that helped.

Um, this is going to be very embarrassing and I'm definitely going to trouble you so much, but... would you teach me? Please? I'd like to learn something other than fighting and killing for a change. But it's okay if you don't have the time! I understand you're busy. And I'm a horrible student. I'll probably fail on day one.

Really? Well, I'm glad it cheered you up. Whatever it was.
