So that's what that's like....
This morning I had the pleasant experienceof seeing what happens when you SHATTER a glass table.
At work, we cut a lot of liners and paper on the workbenches using razor knives. To prevent wear on the tables and make cleaner cuts, these tables have a sheet of glass on their top. Now I knew this could happen and it has a couple times before I started - but it's possible to completely shatter the top. For me, I just lightly dropped a metal bar on the edge of the table and the glass literally exploded. Most of it was still in large chunks (not like broken bottles) and there wasn't really any sharp pieces.
Needless to say, I spent the rest of the morning cleaning it up - but dang, that was cool to watch!
