Owls
This morning as Paul and I walked along a canal bank that we'd not walked before we ran into a family of Great Horned Owls. What a wonderful gift to see five Owls in some Locust trees along the bank. I tried to take good photos but I was disappointed with the clarity. Still, I did capture one of the big youngsters. I am always amazed by their huge yellow eyes that seem to have no expression but to see everything taking it in with calm gazes. I think I'll try to go back and get some better pictures in a few days, sure hope they are still there. What a sweet gift to recieve, the chance to see this family so close.
