Tonight I made a Rachel Ray recipe, something I've never done before. It's a stew/soup called Cocido. It's got chorizo, chicken and little meatballs in it and lots of cabbage and leeks. I think it's a recipe from Spain. Anyway I really liked it but Paul can't decide. I think the different flavors that he's not used to will take a while to develope a taste for, like: a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg in the meatballs, lemon zest, garlic and parsley stirred up with diced tomatoes to serve with and stir in, and lots of leeks. I wish I had taken a picture of it, it's quite pretty to look at. This recipe made a large batch and from what I understand it gets better for a day or two so I guess we'll be enjoying it again which means I get to skip cooking tomorrow- that makes me happy.
