Oh, the blasphemously good times!
While I was riding in the car with my mother the other day, Anne Rice was on the radio being interviewed about her latest book, which apparently stars Jesus instead of a vampire.
A caller phoned in to express the belief that Jesus was a prophet, but not divine. My mother took umbrage at this.
Her: "How can they believe that he was born of a virgin but that he wasn't God?"
Me: "Parthenogenesis?"
