It is no longer christmas

Dec 27, 2004 17:54

Well, all in all Christmas was pretty decent. I got a very nice jacket, and 3 wallets. 3 wallets are great to have, because in case you lose one, you have a back-up, and a double back-up. Some may accuse me of now being "over prepared", but I assure you all that it is completely neccessary, and all of you who have only one wallet, will someday pay the ultimate price. Consider this, if you have only one wallet, and no bank account, then all of your cash will be in that one wallet. Upon losing or having that one wallet stolen, all of your money will be gone. This will leave you with no money to buy a replacement wallet. Then you enter a vicious cycle. With nowhere to put your money, you lose or wash much of it, never getting enough money to replace your wallet. And you said I was over prepared...HA, now you see the situation as it truly is, I'm just ahead of the game. Anyway, I'll stop that now. So, what's been going on lately, not a whole lot. I've been doing a lot of "getting ready for auditions" or "practicing" as we sometimes like to call it. I had a quartet rehearsal this morning, that was pretty good, I think that we have the opportunity to sound good if we keep rehearsing. The Schubert "Death and the Maiden" quartet, is one of the cooler quartets to ever be in existance. And Dvorak American is cool too, as well as Borodin Quartet No. 2. We're gonna try to find the music to Shosta 8 at the library, seeing we ordered it about oh, 3 and a half months ago, and it still hasn't come. Well, I'm tired of typing. If any one has a request for a journal topic for the next entry, leave a comment, and I'll see what I can do.

Adieu
