speaking of which, what immunisations did you end up having to get? did it set you back a pretty penny??

Sigh. Last week typhoid and tetanus, tomorrow MMR (measles, mumps, rubela). I'd already had Hep A and B. Tetanus hurt like hell for four days after (good excuse not to go to the gym, actually) but typhoid wasn't too bad. I guess it is expensive, espcially for Hep A and B, but I work in a pharmacy so I got the vaccines cheaper and brought them to my doctor. Hey, I paid for the entire trip yesterday, thriftiness is pretty critical right about now!

nice one! its a good feeling knowing it is paid for though... but alas, I too am experiencing the pinch while i try to scrounge some spending cash...but then i think of all the cool stuff im gonna get in mexico like AUTHENTIC cowboy boots... yeah, i'm a bit worried about the $$ of these vaccinations :S
