I applied to two more pet places today ... yay. They both asked me some questions and took down information about my availability (and neither had a problem with me not able to work weekends, they were pleased that I could work all day on weekdays including nights - I guess because most students can't). I really hope one of them calls me back. I have a few more places I'd like to apply next week.
So to answer everyone's questions about my last entry, haha - I registered for two courses at Douglas College, First Aid for Dogs and First Aid for Cats. They'll both look good on my already animal-oriented resume, and they're a good start towards my potential veterinary assistant career. And that was my goal ... to take as many helpful courses here and there as possible. I'm glad to be starting early! Both courses are in March. I'm excited.
