Figured that post was long enough, so heres the second not-camping-related half.
Job related news, I successfully put off doing my resume and applying to that job I wanted until later November/early December. Everyone tells me it takes the government months to respond, and it seems it wont be any different for me. However, Ive put out one elsewhere, and one is going out to a big local company. I may have to settle for stream call center, though, just for a bit of income until someone better responds.
Home related news, Kinjry and I no longer live together. I moved out, to my rents new place in Wellington (closer to where I used to live, before the apartment) and hes gone to Toronto. If that government job comes through, Ill likely end up in Ottawa soon.
Amusement related news, I stopped playing WoW a long time ago, possibly before my last post. Now, Im playing EVE Online, and am very happy with it. So much more complicated than WoW, definitely enjoyable for those who would rather think and deal with social issues over button-smash and grind like games. Still on Second Life from time to time as well. Playing Forged Alliance in single-player when Im bored, and went to a LAN party recently for some Starcraft and Call of Duty fun. Loved Portal and TF2, I seem to be the GLaDOS pusher of all my friends, getting them hooked on the game *smirks*.
Thats about it for now. Dont hold your breath for the next update, never know when I might get unlazy enough to post.
