Yes, you
saltintheoven and
smokingguncafe. They recently posted their Disney pin collections
here and
here.
Firstly, buttons came first. I've always loved buttons.
These are just randomness I've collected throughout the years. POTC and TLM came from Hot Topic, surprisingly. "Sit a Spell" is from Salem, MA. Auburn is my dad's alma mater--and the school I intended to attend. The bitsy ones are American Girl, from the 90s. (Good times.) And the Irish are for Patty's Day--I'll never get pinched!
These are my buttons from work--Books-A-Million and Trade Secret. I actually don't think we were supposed to, but I kept mine. (I have no idea how I ended up with two name tags that aren't mine, either. And Billy...well, you should get that one.) My favorite is the "hug your bookseller" one.
Oh, THESE pins?
Random pins. Causes, etc. The funny-looking key with a wreath around it is my language honor society pin. :)
Eeyore
Bottom to top: The balloon one is the first Disney pin I ever bought--well, actually, my grandmother bought it for me. I think it's still my favorite. Stock Eeyore. Christmas--it's got dangles! (And is HUGE.)
Sparkles--this one matches something I have, though I don't remember what. Baby Eeyore matches my baby Eeyore stuffed animal. Both are adorable. Hidden Mickey Cast pin--Eeyore on clouds. SO cute!
Not Eeyore
Stitch! I thought he was adorable on that trip. Enchanted. The heart in the center is a spinner--the other side is cartoon Giselle. Some kind of seasonal Belle. Not terribly impressive, but she came with a trade.
I was on BATB search, can you tell? Cogsworth and Lumiere--"Be our guest." (My dad's camera's flash hates me. My battery had to be charged.) Curtsy Belle and bowing Beast. Aww.
Baby Belle and Beast! This was my trade. Storybook Belle with dangle--they had a series of all the princesses and Belle was actually prettier than Ariel.
Pretty Ariel, nice and under the sea. (I think this one came from the Ariel show.) The other Ariel is also a spinner--the other side is Ariel with legs. But it's Triton!
Year of a Million Dreams, which I didn't experience first-hand, but I loved the merch. And the Wilderness Lodge, which is where I stayed last time.
Aerosmith's Rockin' Rollercoaster--my favorite ride. And a DLRP pin I found at a Disney Outlet somewhere celebrating its opening.
WALL-E and EVE! These three were a set at the Disney Store. Irresistible!
M-O and Minnie. Minnie was the pin my grandmother bought with my Eeyore pin. She used to wear it on a jacket, but lost it and I found it. (I believe she's rollerskating. In space, apparently.)
Not Disney
Hard Rock Cafe. Valentine's Day [insert year], Orlando, FL. And Rock Angel.
Snoopy. With my birthstone (blue topaz) and, oddly, the birthstone for February (amethyst, I think). My grandmother brought them back from the Mall of the Americas in Minnesota. She never buys the right month for Mum (November)--she always gets February, the month in which she was married.
NCRS = National Corvette Restorers Society. My dad has been a member forever and these are the national conventions I actually attended--Hershey, PA; San Antonio, TX; and Boston, MA. Hershey also happened to be the 50th anniversary, hence the double cars on that one. And boobies! The first one is from Pampered Chef, whose program was "Whip cancer" or something, hence the whisk. And the other is...just the little pink ribbon.
That was a lot, I know, but if you collect something, you have to do it right, right?
