Graduation!!!

Graduation, June 7, 2006.

Graduation was on June 7, 2006. I still can't believe that graduation is over and done with...reality STILL hasn't hit. The ceremony was all in all good. My parents complained that it was too long, but I really enjoyed it. There were a few teary-eyed moments (Mr. and Mrs. Garofalo picking up John's special diploma, Leah's wonderful performance, Andrea's speech, Mr. Hobson's speech, etc.), and there were a lot of funny moments, as well (Mrs. Phelps's speech, Andrea's speech, Steve's hat falling off DURING his speech, Mr. Hobson's speech, Jacqui's family going crazy, a few of the guys doing weird things as they walked across the stage, etc.). Oh, and the "OH SIX!!!" chant that the guys started towards the end of the ceremony...I was talking to Fernando about this, and we realized that that was the last time we will do that chant ever again. Unless, we randomly do it at our 10 year reunion or something. THAT would be odd....haha

I can't believe it's over...haha. Anyhoot...here are pictures. The pictures credited to Mr. George Bachtell are the ones I took from our school website. If you would like to see more pictures, go to our school slideshow.

DAR Constitution Hall. Kinda looks like the Lincoln Memorial, in my opinion...

me and my daddy.

me and my daddy, again. Dad...camera's THIS WAY!!

me and my mommy.

me and my mommy, again.

Jacqui and me. =)

Lien, Hong Loan, Tracy, Me, Olivia, Ashley.
Tracy couldn't figure out how to wear her hat on time, so she just held it over her head, hahaha.

Another picture of the six of us.

Me and Katie. 12 years of friendship, from first grade to senior year.

Ally, Sarah, me, and Ini. The four of us have been the first four girls of the class of 2006 ever since 6th grade.
This was when we were lining up in alphabetical order, right before Pomp and Circumstance started playing.

The processional. We had to wait until everybody was at their seat before we could all sit down. Can you say, boring? Lol.

After Gaby and Kelsey's speech, it was time for me and Carolyn to sing our song.
On our way to the microphone. Whoever took this picture does not have steady hands.

Singing.

Singing again. I look so weird!!! AUGH! The reason why I'm sticking my head out like that is because we had to position the mic in between my height and Carolyn's height, and she's so freaking tall! And then the sound system people were all, "Yeah, do anything to help you sound loud, because the volume is at it's maximum" or whatever.

Mr. Evans's speech.

Right before we walked across the stage. =)

We did it!! Hahaha. My tassel's on the right side, now!! Hahaha!!! And yes, I was getting teary-eyed, which explains why my nose is slightly red.
Thank you to Maryanna, Jimmy, Weonho, and PG (not pictured..=( ) for coming out!!

Group picture, again. Weonho needs to work on his smile. =P

My diploma cover. This is what we get when we walk across the stage.

The left side of my actual diploma. This jaount is the stuff we pick up outside.

The right side! If you look carefully, you can see my reflection in this picture and the one above.

Both sides of my doploma! =)

There were so many people I wanted to take pictures with (Leah, the guys, some people from elementary school, etc), but it was impossible to find all these people. -_-;; Oh well.

We did it, Class of '06!!
