Prologue:

Yoochun slammed hard into the piano keys. The pain on…

“OWW!” Yoochun yelled in pain, shaking his right hand with a pout. “I think I chipped a nail!” He continued to wail.

“Yoochun, you are a man. Stop being so concerned over a chipped nail. Okay everyone, continue filming! Yoochun, we will take it from you slamming into the keys.”

But, but! I just had them manicured!” Grumbling, Yoochun turned back to prepare for the next take.

/

“No,” Yoochun pressed on, careful not to answer with anything that was not monosyllabic as he has no intention speaking more to his father if he had no obligation to.

“Is it that stupid dream of yours of becoming a p… Yoochun! Will you please concentrate?! You are supposed to cut me off before I finish my sentence.” Ho Dong glared at Yoochun with his slit eyes.

“Mhuh?” Yoochun looked up with his mouth full of cereal.

“Gosh, Yoochun! That’s a prop you are eating! And they said only Changmin loved food!” Ho Dong exclaimed, staring at Yoochun in disbelief.

/

Chapter one:

That had been a daily routine - venting his emotions on the piano in the music room of the old school campus, walking alone to the new building, the suppressing of his feelings and feigning of a cheerful front. Yoochun wanted to be perceived as someone strong, someone that he wasn’t emotionally and could never be.

Once the glass door that led to the main hall of the school was pulled… and pulled…

“HELLO?! This door is spoilt,” Yoochun glared at the door like the door had just slapped him.

“Yoochun, PUSH. Not pull.”

“…Oh.”

/

“Yoochun-ah honey dearrrr! Are you coming to my place tonight?” Jessica asked seductively while twirling the locks at her shoulders.

Yoochun was about to reply when a chopstick came flying over his head, hitting Jessica right on her shoulder. “Oww!” the lady cried in pain.

Yoochun gasped and turned around, only to see a fuming Junsu behind the set. A stunned Changmin was standing beside him, holding onto a bowl of ramen with one hand and a chopstick in the other.

“STAY AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND!” Junsu yelled, crossing his arms and staring at the poor actress while Changmin mourned over the lost of his chopstick.

/

All the university teachers walking by the mob decided to join in the quest by attempting to squeeze through the thick boulder of bodies.

“CUT! Where are the university teachers who are supposed to shake their heads in disapproval?!”

And from that mass of bodies, a few hands shot up, “But.. he’s the oh-so-difficult-to-resist Micky Yoochun from DBSK!”

/

To Yoochun’s dismay, Professor Kim continued, “As one of the best, I am utterly surprised that you do not know that it is widely accepted that there is no English word that can rhyme with the word ‘orange’ although there are half rhymes such as lorange…?” Junsu scratched his left cheek with his index finger, “Or is it lozage?”

“It’s LOZENGE, Junsu!” Correcting him, Yoochun rolled his eyes, “Will someone please give him easier lines? Lines his intelligence could keep up with, hopefully?”

“HEY!” Junsu marched up to Yoochun, punching him in his arm. "No sex for a week!"

/

“You better heed my advice and stop wearing those shades to school!” With that, Yoochun swept his hand over Junsu’s face, throwing the black shades off the young professor.

“Ah!” Junsu shouted in pain, his hand reaching up to clasp his cheek.

“Oh my God! Junsu! Are you alright?!” Yoochun rushed forward to tend to Junsu.

Peeling Junsu’s hands away from his face, Yoochun saw a little scratch on his temple.

“OH MY GOD! SOMEONE CALL THE AMBULANCE!” Yoochun shouted to the filming crew, who looked only confused and more confused.

/

Chapter two:

Having removed his shades, Junsu started to play his favourite piece.

A piece he used to play for his mother before she died. He composed the piece himself, just for his mother. After his mother passed away, Junsu would play this piece every time missed he missed her. The melody never failed to lift his mood as his mother’s loving face filled his mind.

Beautiful music filled… suddenly, the music stopped.

“Sorry, sorry! I forgot the notes. Can we do this from the beginning again? Sorry!” Junsu said with a pout, bowing apologetically towards the crew.

/

“I have to find out more about Susu,” Yoochun mumbled to himself on his way back home in his limousine.

“Park Yoochun! Are you sure you have memorized your lines?!”

“Huh? What? Oh right… sorry! I’m too used to calling my baby Susu!”

/

Oops! I did it again I played with your heart, got lost in the game Oh baby, baby~

“EH?! I thought a vibration was supposed to tug at my pants? Since when was it replaced by… this song?!” Yoochun exclaimed upon hearing the blasting ringtone.

A vocal expulsion of air that resembled a choking dolphin came from the behind the cameras suddenly.

“KIM JUNSU!”

/

“Haha, I’m sorry for forgetting to find you at the cafeteria yesterday. I won’t do that again, I promise! And you better get to the cafeteria now; otherwise, your double chocolate cake might…”

Before Yoochun could finish his sentence, Changmin cut him off, “Hyung, it’s not just a double chocolate cake. Its stylishly crafted cake with layers of chocolate waiting to melt in one's mouth~”

“Changmin, I know you are young and adorable. But you will still have to follow the script,” the director said with a gentle smile.

“Director! You are so biased! When I change my script, you throw shoes, eggs and whatnots at me. But when it’s Changmin, you…” And Yoochun was cut off again by a marker pen that came flying in his direction.

/

Chapter three:

“Fine. But come back after math. We’ll go home together after school.”

“Okay, see you then!” Ruffling Changmin’s hair, Yoochun openly walked towards the exit.

As Yoochun approached the door, the door came slamming open, a figure bumped straight into him.

“Professor Hw… Jaejoong hyung?!”

The crew looked up in surprise while girls in the class began screaming in excitement at the new guest.

“Hey Yoochun!”

“What are you doing here?”

Jaejoong grinned, taking a flask out of the paper bag he was holding, “I made soup! Thought maybe I’d bring some over for you three.”

“But we’re filming,” Yoochun whispered.

“It’s Korean sausage soup…”

“HYUNG! DID YOU MAKE BRING RICE?!”

“WHERE ARE THE BOWLS?”

The director sighed as Changmin and Junsu went dashing off set.

/

“At the back of the class, Changmin chuckled. He wondered how Yoochun was going to get himself out of that situation.

“Urm, I was wondering if I could miss your lesson just for today.”

At this, Changmin laughed aloud, receiving a few curious stares from the front, “Just for today? Who is Chun trying to cheat?”

“Sure, but can I have your autograph first?” The old lady fished out a piece of paper and a pen from her handbag and pushed it in front of Yoochun.

“CUT! Madam Hwang, you are supposed to ask Yoochun why he wants to skip your lesson!”

A sigh and they had to reshoot the whole scene.

/

Chapter four:

Under the scorching sun, all seven runners adjusted themselves into the starting blocks, preparing to propel forward once the gunshot was heard.

“3, 2, 1…” Water shot out from the gun, wetting the competitor standing nearest from the starter stand.

“Cut! What the heck is going on?”

“Oh no,” the starter gasped at the water gun in his hand, “No wonder I saw my son holding a gun that looks exactly like this!”

/

Seeing Yoochun on the podium, Changmin made note to tell him how suave he looked after the whole event. On Yoochun’s face was a smile that was the one of widest Changmin ever saw on him.

Flashlights blinded Yoochun as the champion team walked up to receive their medals. Turning to kiss Junsu, he proudly posed for the herd of photographers.

“Cut. Yoochun, you’re supposed to kiss the medal.”

/

Chapter five:

“I’m sorry. I… didn’t see you. Sorry.”

The boy snorted, “You didn’t see me? Then why don’t you take off those awful looking shades? Maybe you’ll see better without them.”

Junsu bit his lips uncomfortably. He wasn’t in the mood to quarrel with the bully. Apologizing for the second time, he turned to walk away. However, the student held him back by the shoulder, making the poor professor stumble on the spot.

“Turning your back on me, I see? Having…AHHH~ I can’t do this anymore, really! I can already see the Cassiopeians surrounding me, skinning me alive andand, forming those awful anti-fan sites~!”

“Cut. Is there anyone else who can replace him?”

"But...but director, we've already had twelve replacements."

/

Chapter six:

To Changmin’s surprise, Yoochun returned his greeting with an equally cheerful smile.

Changmin smiled to himself when he saw how happy Yoochun was. Although he was far more intelligent than anyone of his age, or even older, Changmin was a very simple boy. Not to forget, he was also hot, cute, macho, manly, and oh my god did you see his sexy back during Gayo Daejun? He…

“CUT! Narrator, please keep to your lines.”

“Sorry, can’t help it,” Joey grinned sheepishly.

/

“Yoochun? Why are you here?”

Yoochun turned, only to see Junsu looking back at him innocently. He had to swallow hard because he thought his heart was in his mouth. Slightly appalled by Junsu’s outfit, his jaw fell.

-Ten seconds later-

“Cut! Yoochun what are you doing?”

Yoochun struggled with his mouth still wide open, “Mgai raw sark…” Incoherent words escaped from his throat.

“Huh?”

Junsu jumped in realisation, panicking as he rushed to Yoochun’s side, “His jaw is stuck!”

/

Chapter seven:

“Yoochun? What’s this?” Junsu had his index finger placed on a red round button at the side of the car.

“Don’t pre…” Junsu had already pushed the button, “…ss that.”

A small gap… A small…

“Director? The button isn’t working!!”

“What?! It cost me a bomb to rent this car!”

/

Chapter eight:

“…No. Why would I? You should know better than me, no?” Changmin said as he scooped another spoon of ice cream into his mouth. His eyes closed dramatically as the dessert melted instantly upon contact with his tongue.

“Man, can I share that? I haven’t eaten since we started filming!” Yoochun blabbered, his eyes staring at the glass of chocolate dessert hopefully.

“CUT! PARK YOOCHUN!!”

Junsu stood up from behind suddenly, “Yah! Do not yell at my Chunnie!”

/

Chapter nine:

“Junsu.. Su baby? Su su!” A chain of pet names broke Junsu’s thoughts, bringing him back to Yoochun’s side.

“Huh?” Junsu sat up straight and looked at the concerned man.

“You seemed disturbed. Are you alright?”

Junsu nodded with a little smile, a smile he hoped Yoochun would accept without asking further. To his relief, Yoochun returned an understanding smile and squeezed his hand, not intending to probe on.

“Hey which name do you like better? I think Susu sounds adorable!” Yoochun beamed.

“I like Baby Su the most. Oh no wait, can you try saying ‘honey’?”

“Honey~!”

“Now ‘cupcake’.”

“Cupcake~!” Yoochun cooed without forgetting to pinch Junsu’s nose.

“Now try ‘honey baby cupcake’!”

“Honey-”

“CUT! Someone get this lovey dovey pair out of my studio.”

/

Chapter ten:

“I miss you,” Junsu’s head lowered as he spoke to the lifeless piano surface, “Why did you forget me…”

It was probably unfair for Junsu to come up with that accusation, and he knew it. After all, he had been the one who had stopped visiting the room. Time was his primary excuse. Every spare time he had was spent with Yoochun. Yes, and now there was Yoochun. Yoochun brought him all the happiness he needed, why else would he need to seek comfort in this room anymore? But why? Why did he feel immense regret and pain engulfing his heart at the thought of his painter forgetting him for good?

Loud wailings suddenly echoed from behind the crew.

“Cut! What’s that awful noise?!”

The crew stood aside, revealing Yoochun sitting at the back and crying his heart out, “Oh my god!! That’s… that’s so sad!! All the regret and pain… How could the painter forget him!!”

/

“I wanted to ask you something after class just now but you walked off so quickly. I had to follow you all the way here. Then I didn’t want to disturb you when you were playing the piano so I leaned against the door to wait for you. But you opened the door all of a sudden and… You know the rest,” Yoochun looked up with eyes asking for pity.

Junsu leaned in to kiss the pouting lips away, and deepening it when Yoochun responded. His tongue caressed Yoochun’s lower lip, desperately asking for entrance. Yoochun gladly obliged, opening his mouth and…

“Cut! Junsu, you’re only supposed to give Yoochun a peck.”

Junsu pulled back, dishevelled and confused , “Really? But that’s not what my script wrote.”

The director frowned and gave frustrated scowl, “Park Yoochun! Have you been messing with Junsu’s script again?!”
