(no subject)
Sundays always wear me out. the day of rest turns out to be the most draining, thus i am most tired on monday morning. this monday is not gonna be pretty. i was supposed to read a 200pg book and write a pg paper on it,but i have not quite done that yet. here is is, 7:45pm and i have yet to finish reading or write the paper. this week ihave three other essays and two test. at the moment i can barely keep my eyes open, perhaps it is the beginning of the sugar indused coma i am about to go into....
last night was great. i had more fun then than i have in a long while. we went to a concert and i got to speak the to lead singer about a ministry called "international justice mission" and basically ,they send in lawyers and investigators into thirt world countries and emancipate those whose basic human rights are being violated. they bust up brothel rings, end child labor etc. i had heard about it a long while back, but for some reason, it really touched me. i am thinking that i would like to spend a few years out of the country, helping these people get out of their oppression, and forced prostitution and help then find a new freedom.... you should check out the website http://ijm.com
i also watched 28 days with a few friends, i must say, that movie is brilliant! i loved it, and i would recommend it to everyone. anyway, i am taking up space here in the lab, peeeps are desperate for their comps....too bad i still need to write a paper
