Happy 2007
Happy New Year's, everyone!
We just stumbled in fairly inebriated from an evening at a friend's house, spent playing guitar hero, drinking, and shooting the shit about school, life, and everything. It was great fun. We've had some shitty things happen in the last few days (specifically, the van was broken into and vandalized, about which more details will be forthcoming), but overall, this has been a very positive year. We made a big leap of faith in coming to Canada, but I think it paid off. School is going well, life is going well, we have good friends both near and far, and we have a roof over our heads, a well stocked pantry, and two adorable kittens. What more can you ask for? Here's to another year of good fortune, good health, and graduate school! Hope everyone else has had a safe and happy new year's eve!
