¡¿Canadá?! ¡Hola!
Hello to my unexpected mystery visitor from Canada!
I've spent the last 3 days living in an audio/video production studio. Having finally returned to my own flat, I just enjoyed a wonderful shower and change of clothes. Our project still isn't quite finished, but it's very close. We have learned the importance of capturing footage in small clips with meaningful names, having lost more than one file to the gods of Untitled and accidentally deleting 45 minutes of original source audio while editing a 15 second section of video.
My current thinking on this project is just to get it done with, then properly recapture the source material and reconstruct a high quality version once I return to the states. For example, we spent about 6 hours recording foley, which sounds okay, but I know with 3 more hours at the UMBC studio we can re-record it to sound great. The only thing we can't fix in post is missing shots and poor camera quality, but we are hoping to pick up some of the missing shots in the next few days, and overall project quality makes up for poor camera quality many days.
