"Whats the name of that giant chicken, Big Bird?""Its not a giant chicken Dad, it's just a big bird"

So, today. I watched a couple of movies on the tele. Maureen is over. She's so nice. Me and her and my dad were talking for a while. It was funny because my dad had said that he had been to a super bowl game in CA once. And we were like, "that's cool" and then he said that he was one of the venders that they have. And Maureen and I both just laughed and were like, "that completely changes the meaning of going to a super bowl game."

My dad had told he about DDR because I was playing a week or so ago and I had left the pads upstairs. So I played a little bit for her and she was so funny because she was just in awe that anyone could do it. She tried playing a little. She really liked it. She couldn't get it too well so I put her on the lesson mode. Kept being ahead of the beat though. But oh well, she did get better after the lesson mode. Which is good because it means that the lesson mode actually works. It's just weird to me because I never had ot use lesson mode, I just GOT it. I don't really understand how other's don't understand that you hit the arrow with the beats. Whatev. It was still fun to teach her.

Then Justin and Jess came in and the five of us talked for a little bit. My dad and my brother are so ridiculous. I love them. "I saved her life twice. What the hell is wrong with me!?"
Jess is really fun too. She gave me a hug when she left and it made me feel really good. I hope that her and Justin stay together.

Anyway, after Justin and Jess left, Maureen and I watched Grey's Anatomy while my dad watched the hockey game. And then I came in here and updated. I'll probably go shower pretty soon here. I want to shower and blow dry my hair. Because I feel prettier when it's down and I haven't worn it down all week. And I want to feel pretty. So yeah.

I'm pretty happy with today, though. My dad also made me some cinnamon toast. AHH! I haven't had that in years. it's so yumm-diddle-icious.

Ahh, I keep remembering things, my dad and Maureen are always getting out the dictionary. It's so funny. I came home once and they just left it open and I was like, "reading the dictionary again, huh Dad?" too funny. They wanted to know the definition of "tabby" today.

I really want to spend a lot more time with my brother and my dad this summer than I dd last summer. And for the rest of the time until summer. Because being all together and talking is something that only happens once in every while around my house and I don't think that that is anyway for a family to be.
