I'm almost sorry to even touch this subject, but I will.
A few weeks ago I saw The Laramie Project. A few minutes ago I was just watching 'The Evolution Will Be Televised.' And even when they just showed clips of Matthew Shepard, even mentioned his name, it was like my eyes would well up. Some of the shit Fred Phelps was saying, 'AIDS cures fags' etc etc, and that Jerry Fallwell came up with that stupid ass 'Tinky Winky is gay' bullshit, and now they want to build a monument with Shepard's face on it, that says Matthew Shepard entered hell at such and such time for defying God, and then a nice little saintly, forgiving quote from Leviticus. Sometimes I forget there are people that insane.
I think we need to really just eject these people from society. They are a hazard.
