Hit harder than I thought...
Jeremy Mullins is dead.
I was shocked when I was told this through an IM from a friend down in Savannah. Jeremy was a Professor for my Department in Sequential Art. I had webcomics class with him and he taught me a lot. I wasn't sure how hard this was going to hit me until my tears started hitting the keypad of my laptop and then they wouldn't stop. My professors were a huge influence on my life and to hear that one of them is gone due to a freak accident is just unfair and hard to believe. Especially when I had just hugged him and said my goodbyes at Graduation just 2 weeks ago.
Jeremy was only 32 and good guy, an awesome professor, and here for too short a time. I'm going to miss him, and I can only give my condolences to his family and close friends. As a student I'm pretty hurt and feel a little lost from this sudden event. I'll spread the word to my friends that had him and may not know... but goddamnit i hate having to tell people this stuff. I don't like killing moods but fuck... it has to be told...
