...brandeis is actually okay. and I'm not just saying that because I got completely wasted last night. i promise. I've spent a lot of time with avi (who I feared I would never see since she actually doesn't live with me) and I have faithfully done absolutely no homework. none at all. maybe i will when I finish writing. the people who I liked before are people that I still like now, and I've resolved to make a few new friends. mostly those boys who live with avi since I'll be there a lot.
so funny story. I went to this organic farm in weston to get flowers with people on friday and the woman working there not only was on the same program as I was in Chile but she had done her research on the same island in chiloe! it was so amazing to be in this massachusets field surrounded by organic produce talking about these people we knew on the other side of the world. i mean. where else right?
so the road trip was amazing. mike is the best travel companion ever and in all honesty it was sort of relaxing to only have to talk to one person at a time. adjusting back to the most social place on earth was really difficult. and to think that brandeis is my most social place. thank god I don't go to a normal school.
overheard today in the sherman dining hall: "so do you read torah? we are looking for torah readers." yeah. I go to brandeis. only place on earth one gets to hear that sort of conversation while one is making a waffle.
my room is finally messy. starting to feel like home
