Hello Dear World
Well, it's been a while.
I sucessfully finished everything I had to in order to start school. After a very early morning I am caught up in homework and the kitchen is relatively clean (hooray!). I feel pretty accomplished. I had my first day at my internship yesterday, which was nerve wracking but very very cool. I feel like a kid playing at being a grown up. I have a desk in an office. Of course I'm not getting paid... but...
I haven't had as much time as I've wanted to to see people lately, or even talk on the phone/internet. I would like to see Amellea, Chance and Christof at least. Emily K had a bonfire last night, it was nice to go, listen to some music, but mostly I spent the time I was there with Azaleah, not Emily, which was fine (but I'd like spend some more time with Emily too, if I can before she leaves). Azaleah's showing a little (she's pregnant and due in March, if you don't know). It just feels good to be there for her. I've always seen her as pretty strong, something about her now just confirms it threefold.
Anyway. I did have strange dreams about her being pregnant last night though. Mostly just that I could see her baby in her belly, like her skin was clear there, and the baby was so big already. I woke up and was glad it was all just some strange dream mutation.
We're growing up. Having real jobs, moving out, finishing school, getting married, getting pregnant... I suppose we all gotta do something adult at some point... and do a little of the wobbling back and forth on the adult line, moving back in with parents, quiting jobs, quiting school, partying til the break of dawn...
I think we'll all work it out at some point though.
