I'm so sorry. I feel like all I do is come on here to complain. Good things happen to me I swear - like all the time. A few days ago the bus driver let me stay on even when he went out of service because he was driving past my house and he said he'd let me off. That was an awesome thing.
And then yesterday happened.
Someone swiped my phone off my desk. I work as a receptionist at a place where really no one should be stealing phones because they are paying a lot of money for the services rendered then I make in a year so fuck you person. Fuck you.
Why was I not in possession of my phone at the time, well I was hauling all the client files so we could update our directory. This files are not light. I was hauling 50 lbs of files each trip and it took about 20. My back is so fucked up right now and while I was away getting files, someone stole my phone.
I loved this phone. It was a smart phone and now I'm addicted to smart phones because they do things like tell me when the next bus is coming and what's going on in uganda and what time my dentist appointment is because I put it in my google calendar. All my friend's numbers are there and I can't remember most of them. If I want that phone, its going to cost me 400 dollars or if I wait a few months 99 dollars and a contract from hell.
Who steals a receptionist's phone? That's just jack-assery 101. Also, the music on that thing is so weird and so are my photos. I have all these pictures of weird people on the bus because that's a thing between me and Allen Ginsberg. The one with the 3 year old dressed as a giraffe is not creepy when you know the context (my irrational fear of giraffes). We send them back and forth, not just that one picture because that would be creepy.
Rargh humanity, rargh.
kill the humans,
technology hates me
