Dear Santas... (and no, that's not a spelling error)
For christmas this year, I would like...

Invertebrate Zoology by E.E. Ruppert & R.D. Barnes
Developmental Biology by S.F. Gilbert
Evolutionary Analysis by S. Freeman & J.C. Herron
Whatever Animal Physiology they're teaching next year - I don't know yet
An iPod
A virtual pet (seriously)
A nice, dark-brown skirt. Pretty shoes. A red sweater. A pair of nice jeans. A couple of long-sleeved t-shirts (light-blue, black, red, dark-green), and some short-sleeved.
A new bike
This Book Will Change Your Life for 2005
Cricket to sing "Waltzing Matilda" for me (herself in person would be good, but a tape would be okay too)
A haircut
Fun board games
Cash? Cause I really need some
The complete set of those Laura Ingalls Wilder books
People to come visit me
Camp Songs on a CD
A lizard, cause my dad says I can get one
A nice, thick blanket
Lots of chocolate
A new alarm clock
A flight to Finland (and back home) sometime next spring
A dartboard
Books. And some more books. Just some good ones. (I hate mystery)

And I can't think of anything else.
(NB - this is not the meme everyone's been doing, cause I'm not doing it, but I did feel like making a wish list)

Have done nothing today. Except going to a dentist and pay a whole lot of money for nothing, since my teeth are always fine. My dentist is on maternity leave, so they had some other woman filling in for her - well, that woman is pregnant, and her belly was seriously covering half my face while she was looking at my teeth. It was hilarious.

Babysitting tomorrow and I'm way excited. It isn't the same kid as usual (who's very dull, but his parents pay well)... it's my friends parents. They've a three-year-old girl and a year-old boy, and they're so much fun. (I think it's really funny that my 21-year-old friend has siblings that young!). The girl is the sweetest kid in the world and is no problem whatsoever, but the boy is a brat and cries himself to sleep every night :p So that should be fun. And they live next door, and I like the parents... have known them since I was 9, and I used to practically live at their house (I still let myself in without knocking, and I know where they keep the spare key!). It'll be a fun way to spend a Friday night, oh yes.

I'm sick of cold weather.

Edited to say I am applying for a job... please hire me, funplaceIdliketoworkat!

christmas, babysitting, list
