(no subject)
Three boys! Three! Oh my.
So yes. Got an email with the subject IMPORTANT while I was at school. Mentor-project woman tried to call me like 2352894054 times during the day, but my phone was on silent. So the email reads: "I'd like to talk to you, could you please call me as soon as possible?" So I call, after searching all over for her number. Apparantly, as there's a teacher's strike going on, things got messed up and they didn't know three boys from that school had gotten a "priority" on the mentor thing. So she asks me if I'd be willing to mentor three boys. And anyone who knows me, knows I had to say yes.
Have three boys now. Oh my. Met them all, they're really cute and fun boys. One was crazy shy at first though, he wouldn't even get out of the car, and then he refused to go into the classroom. But he opened up really quickly. Their parents are all very nice people. Am meeting them for the first time alone on Monday at 2, and we're taking a walk, then checking out their schools playground and possibly their houses - if the weather doesn't go crazy. If it does go crazy, I believe LEGO is our best bet, as that seemed to be the only thing they all like.
Is the 4th series of Gilmore Girls worse than the previous ones? I know I'm not enjoying it so far (I've seen 3 episodes). It's not bad just... I've been watching the first season on DVD and it's SO much funnier than the fourth. Not that the fourth is bad so far - it's just not as crazy funny as the first one. I still love it, though.
And yay for Tuesdays. They're my TV days! First Gilmore Girls, then an hour of whatever crappy stuff is on TV, then Judging Amy and last The L Word. Funfun. I don't bother watching TV on any other day. This means though, that I have no time to study on Tuesdays, as an hour between TV shows just isn't enough to get anything started. Yay for staying up all night studying!
Oh - I met a girl who's studying psychology. She has 6 hours of classes a week. Six! Six! That's crazy! I have... about 31 hours of classes a week. And we have the same amount of credits this semester. How is this even possible???
Well boo - Silly me thought The L Word was on Tuesdays but it's NOT! It's reruns of Survivor which is the CRAPPIEST show I've EVER SEEN and now I'm very mad and very dissapointed. Well boo.
