Went to mentor-meeting-lecture thing.

Turns out they've changed the program a bit, and are starting an experiment called "group mentor" or something like that. They picked 10 mentors who have experience working with groups of children to be group mentors. There are 2, 3 or 4 kids in a group. I'm very glad there's only 2 in mine. Both my boys are nine years old and they go to the same class. There are only TWO mentors in the school my boys are in - the other mentor has a group of three girls who are in the same class as my boys! (While in most other schools, they have like 15 mentors, and only one of those has a group of kids). Anyway, I made friends with the other girl and she has this really cool idea for an activity we could do with all our kids together. Will be fun.

Meeting my boys and their families tomorrow. Got a sticker to put on myself, and they'll get stickers just like mine... then they're supposed to look for me. Won't be really hard for them, as there's only two mentors for that school! (Each school has their own kick-off thing this week). We're eating pizza. And talking, I imagine. Working out when to meet and what to do and stuff. Funfun. Although, I promised I'd babysit tomorrow, before I knew about this, and now I have to cancel on the woman I'm babysitting for. Ugh. I hate doing that - but I have no choice.

Anyway. Dinner, then call and cancel, then study.
