(no subject)
Am babysitting.
Am rather bored, too, since both kids are asleep now.
They are adorable. 7-month-old boy, who's like the cutest kid I've seen in a long time, and cries himself to sleep. Heeh. Was not worried about babysitting him, as he was already asleep when I got here, and his mom told me that if he wakes up and starts crying, I should just pretend I don't hear him.
The girl is almost three, and is SUPER cute. I've actually co-babysat her a few times (These are my friends-mother's kids, and our parents are kinda friends too, plus we're next door neighbours... haha) but she's kinda whiny and shy, so I was araid she might just cry for her mom all night. But she didn't, and she's cute and funny and talks a LOT, and it's a nice break from the two two-year-old boys I usually babysit (Not that they're not fun - they just don't talk much at all, and I like little kids best when they are in the chat-stage :p)
So anyway, she also wants to do everything herself - get into her PJs, brush her teeth, go to the toilet... everything. So I let her, but she always ended up asking me to help her. And she's like NO problem when it comes to going to sleep, just tuck her in, say goodnight and she'll just fall asleep after a while. Amazing.
Oh! I was sitting in the living room after putting her to bed, and all of a sudden she calls "Au-dah! Au-dah?" (omg cute!) and I'm thinking "oh no... now she's realised her mom's not coming back home before she falls asleep... ooh let the crying begin!" But that wasn't it... the cat had just climbed into her bed and was annoying her. Heeh.
Anyway. Bored. Forgot to bring a book. Nothing on TV. Baah.
