(no subject)
29 days. I LEAVE IN 29 DAYS!!!
Ahem. Am slowly getting ready for leaving, and have started putting clothes I want to bring with me aside. I also found the old backpack I'm bringing and made sure it's still waterproof. The backpack is AWESOME, by the way. My mother brought it on her interrail trip when she was 20 or 21 so it's been all over Europe... then it moved to Denmark with my parents for a few years, but when we moved home to Iceland it was cast aside and forgotten... until I went to work in Denmark when I was 18. I somehow managed to pack all I needed for a whole summer in that backpack and off I went with my tent and sleeping bag. Whee! It was the place where I stored my clothes over the summer, and sometimes I brought it on shorter trips.
That's my backpack, myself and all of Vera's stuff... 16 kilometers from the nearest bus stop. Yay.
And that is myself, trying to stuff all my things in the backpack the night before going back home to Iceland. They WILL fit in there, damnit!
Anyway. I love that backpack dearly. It's wonderful. And now, I get to take it with me on another great trip... this time all the way to the US, where it has never been before! Am really excited.
Also, my sisters donated four t-shirts to me yesterday. They all have the Scout Summer Camp logo on, and a girl and a boy laughing... heee. Shall be the weird girl who owns the same t-shirt in four different colours. The red one is for ages 9-10. The dark green one and the light blue one are both for ages 11-12. And the dark blue one is an adult size Small. Want to guess which one fits me best?
A beach, some paper, a pen and a beer... what else does a girl need?
And that would be myself walking in the middle of the road in my bra. Plus, I'm not wearing any shoes. Whee.
