Chocolate is yummy - but I think I've found another proof that I am, in fact, growing up. See, I have a half-eaten easter egg sitting on the desk next to me, yet I'm happily eating a salad (it's my favorite kind - spinach, tomato and red onion with a olive oil/lemon/garlic/cayenne pepper dressing, but still!). For dessert, cause we already ate. Last year, I'd finished all my chocolate around this time.

The day has been spent reading, eating chocolate, avoiding visitors (because I refuse to get dressed on Easter Sunday) and bravely playing The Sims. And I had hoped that my virtual family's troubles would stop after Felix spontaneously caught on fire during Emma and Doe's birthday party...

Right after - and I mean right after - Felix's tragic death, John decides, all on his own, to hit on Tara. They dig eachother. And are pretty much in love, without any help from me. Emily, understandably, is furious at her husband and daughter in law. I could've tried to fix everything. But it was starting to sound like a soap already, so I had to try and get Tara pregnant. How crazy would it be for her to give birth to her late husband's sibling??

Success! The one-night-stand results in a beautiful little girl, who I call Rin (the result of randomly hitting keys on the keyboard...). Only, John passes away before his only daughter is born. Maybe that's good, we didn't need any more drama in the house.

Meanwhile, Kyle and Robin are busy at college, dancing, getting engaged, and occasionally going to class. They're kinda cute. So I move them back in with the rest of the family once they graduate.

By that time the twins have grown up to be pretty cute kids - although they don't look very much like siblings. And they're completely unaware of just how messed up their family is. I guess that's good.

Just as I think "hey, they may have a chance of a happy childhood!", the grim reaper visits once more, this time for Emily. And I actually got a photo this time! Mostly because I was ready for her to die - the house was getting a bit crowded.

Especially since Robin and Kyle have a baby on the way. That is - until Robin repeatedly dozes off into her dinner plate, I can't wake her up, and she starves to death. Kyle goes a little crazy, and because I never really liked him that much to begin with (and he's on the ugly side, so not good for breeding, anyway) I decide to move him out of the house, and into a mental hospital that only exists in my mind...

And now the rest of the household - Tara, the twins and their sister/aunt are throwing fits and speaking gibberish. And poor Rin - who's the prettiest sim kid ever - refuses to sleep in her bed. It's madness.

being a grown-up, the sims, easter, wtf
