(no subject)
So I'm having a PB&J sandwich for the first time since camp - two things forced me to make one... obviously, I miss camp, and also, there's no real food in the house. Only, it doesn't feel quite right because the peanut butter actually tastes like peanuts and is all crunchy, and the jelly is actually high-quality jam, and the bread doesn't resemble a sponge. It's a fancy PB&J sandwich!
The weather was fantastic today. Seriously, it could've been June. Not a great day for June, but an AWESOME one for January! I took a walk with my kids and played extreme wheelchair driving and other fun stuff. I'm so glad today was a good day because after my whole month of mellow-ness I had a horrible night on Saturday (it may very well have been one of the worst days of my life), but I did some thinking which I think was good for me, and now I'm back to good, for the most part.
Anyway - I need to buy my plane tickets for this summer as soon as possible, because every time I check, the price has gone up (the cheap seats go fast...), but I'm sort of hesitant about doing it because I haven't gotten my visa papers yet - in fact I haven't even heard back from CCUSA. I think I'm just gonna say screw it, though... and if I don't get a visa this year, I'll just come for a very long visit.
