I had something to say, but I forgot what it was. Hmmm.

At work today, I learned the sign for "boat". This nine year old boy, who can't talk, was telling me he was going to be spending the weekend at his dad's house instead of at home (which I understood as I already knew the signs for "dad" and "home") but then he went on to tell me what he and his dad were going to do over the weekend and I had no idea what he was saying, so I just sat there and guessed for a while, and when I got it right he was sooooo happy and it totally made my day to see his face light up when I said "oh, you're going boating with your dad?" So yes. That was my favorite part of today. Happy kids=good.

Also, I realised that my physiology teacher is THE best teacher I've had since I started university. If only she talked a little slower.

Hey Zoe, are you doing anything on Saturday, during the day? If not, you're invited to chocolate cake and ice cream at my place (want me to make something that doesn't have chocolate in it for you?) at around 2 or 3ish. Cause Ásta works Sunday. And Lilja, if you want to, you can come too... we need lots of people to eat the cake, cause it's going to be huge, but yummy and you should come if you're not busy cause I haven't seen you in forever. And you should bring your knitting, or something. Or maybe, if you guys prefer, we can play board games. I don't care. But there'll be cake and ice cream for sure.

My grandfather is soooo funny! I love having him here... At dinner tonight, he told us the funniest story in the world. So, there's this woman who lives in the same town as my grandpa, who he's friends with. My grandpa goes swimming every day, so this woman thought that a headband that covered his ears to use while swimming would be a good gift for him. And my grandpa liked the headband thingie and used it every day when he went swimming. So one day, he's getting ready to get in the pool... showering, putting on his headband... and then he walks out to the pool, which is empty apart from one old lady (this was at like 7 in the morning)... and when this old lady sees my grandpa, she SCREAMS and then starts laughing... and my grandpa realised he had forgotten to put on his swimwear! Aaaaah he tells the funniest stories.
