rubbish
That's what my life has been lately, RUBBISH, but it's Christmas time and even though I'm not in the mood, I'm not going to spout off and dampen the holiday for everyone around me.
But I need your help, if anyone here can in some way.
I was foolish, I broke my long standing rule and bought some art and digital downloads without researching the artist first. He's fairly popular and has been around for quite a while, so I figured it would be fine. He is ignoring my email's and messages on FA, and November 9th was the last time I was contacted by him, even though he's active almost daily on his FA site. Other people seem to be having similar problems and one even contacted me to vent about his dilemma.
King Cheetah is what he goes by on FA and marmaladejane on dA.
He is a friend of and apparently lives near Brian Sutton in San Antonio, Texas?
He has a Twitter, AIM: kcheetah999 and Yahoo: kcheetah999 accounts.
He claims to be a current contributor to Antarctic Press and Radio Comics, yet seems by his "listening to" comment on this journal entry, he has little respect for the fans who support him.
Unfortunately, it seems his lack of response after payment has been a long standing policy since I found a complaint on a mail archive from Aug 1998 of a similar situation.
If he thinks I'm writing off $150 and just going away, he's got another thing coming. If anyone has an idea about what I can do besides hound him to his grave, I'm all ears.
