Wrong Again...As Usual
Still Sick, And Will Be For Another Two Weeks
So last time I wrote about how I thought it was my allergies that was contributing to my miserable state. Then last Tuesday, I finally went to urgent care to hopefully get some medicine that will help out with my hacking cough that keeps me up every night. So after the doctor saw me, he mentions that I have a "flu bug" and that it usually lasts for about a month. Great. So he prescribed an inhaler, cough medicine as well as drops for the pink eye that is now almost gone. I've finally been getting some good sleep and am feeling better, but still have this nagging sore throat that comes and goes throughout the day. Two weeks down, two weeks to go.
SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!!
This past Saturday we went to go check out Monster Jam, a monster truck show. It was ok. There were some jumps, loud engines and racing, but disappointingly, no running over and smashing of cars. What a rip. But it was something to check out I guess. If you ever go to one, make sure to take some ear plugs. We did and boy was I glad that we did, cause the revving of the monster truck engines is brutally loud.
Doing The Duty
So yesterday was President's Day, and to the surprise of many of us here at work, we actually had the day off as a holiday, as this had never happened before. However, for some strange reason, the judicial system wasn't off and wouldn't you know it, my number was called to attend jury duty for Monday morning, my day off. So I went and waited, and waited, and waited. Turns out the case that was to be tried for that day, didn't have all the information or data needed to get started, so we were dismissed at 10:30. However I still have to call today around 11:30 to see if that same case will be ready today and if so, I will have to go in at 1:00. The price to pay for jury duty I guess. At least I got some time to play Ghost Trick on the DS, and it's pretty good so far, as I'm just about to start on Chapter 6.
