Where Did The Time Go? Actually, Where The Hell Did You Go?
Yeah, I have been neglecting LJ for over a month now, but not on purpose. Things are going ok, just been really busy with work and at home. So, no earth shattering news on my end, which I guess is good considering nothing bad has happened.
Let The Christmas Season...Begin! (It Already Started Two Months Ago Dummy!)
Well crap, only a little over than two weeks until Christmas. Man, once Thanksgiving is over, time from then until Christmas just flies by rapidly. I did manage to put up my Christmas tree that first weekend after Thanksgiving. Burnt out lights are one thing, but dealing with them that are already wired into the tree, woo boy, does that suck. I still need to do the outside lights, maybe this weekend.
I will also be doing some baking this year, as the time honored tradition of biscochitos during the Christmas season returns after I was too lazy to do it last year.
evolutionofjake I'll send some in your direction ASAP as promised.
Shopping is almost done. Still need about three more people this year (mainly gift cards). But there's always that "Oh shit, we need to get so-and-so something as well", situation that always pops up at the end.
6...The Number Of The Little Beast
And of course, next week is Noah's birthday. The little man becomes six this year and we're throwing him a small birthday party for him on the 18th. It's going to be at a bowling alley where they'll play a couple of games. We invited 14 kids so far and sent out the invitations yesterday. I don't know why, but I'm getting this terrible gut feeling that not many are going to show, considering that this is so close to the holidays and that Friday on the 17th, is the last day of school and families might already be heading out of town. Well if it's just him and me, screw it, more bowling time for us.
Meme Maybe?
I don't know why, but I'm in that "Ask me anything that you want to know about me." mode. I've never done one before so why not now? So, ask me anything that you want to know about me.
