Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service volume 11...finally!!! Seems as it has been forever since volume 10 of came out. And of course, I scrambled through it within an hour. And yes, like previous volumes, it's still awesome. Only two stories this time, but solid nonetheless. Now, I await for volume 12, which has a release date of...February?!? Aw shit!
I was hearing great things about Monster and that the anime was pretty much very faithful to the manga. When I got wind that they were showing Monster on the SyFy channel, Tivo just got another season pass. The final episode was shown about a couple of weeks ago and I'm with the majority in that this was a pretty good show. Voice work was excellent and the story was rich and complex, with the pacing a little on the slow side but makes up for the deep characters. Music was great and I can't get that haunting opening theme "Grain" out of my head either. So yeah, two thumbs up from me.
Creepy Woody Is Creepy
Thanks to a thread in GAF, I will never look at Toy Story's Woody the same again. In the thread, someone found these pics of a certain kind of Woody toy figure doing all these pervy things with some other anime toy figures. What makes it great is the changeable facial features you can do with the Woody toy. Here's a couple of examples:
