A group of people came to the store I work at. Two black males and two black females. One male and one female came into the store. They were arguing about something. I couldn't quite hear them. I heard the male say something like, "Don't worry about his shit. He can take care of it." I had no idea what that meant, but I didn't worry about. People come in arguing quite often.
So, A couple of minutes later, they walk out after they bought something. I heard something going on outside, but couldn't quite see what was going on. All I heard was yelling and a sharp screech. Then one of the girls came inside (not the one that was previously inside) screaming, "Call the police! He just hit me! Help..." Then they dragged her to the car they were in and left.
I got the tag number. So, I called the sherrif's department. I told them the tag number (they were from Georgia), what they were driving in, and what they looked like. I didn't think they'd actually catch them. They could have been anywhere when I called the cops. But little do I know...
About 15-30 minutes later, the phone rings. The dispatcher from the sherrif's department tells me that they've apprehended the vehicle and the suspects and they were taking care of everything. She also told me that they were extremely thankful because the girl that was getting beat up tried to call them earlier. She was on a cell phone, telling the dispatcher that they were going north-bound on 319 and she needed help.
A little later a cop came down and talked to me. I gave him an affidavit of what I saw. He thanked me again and that was it...
*smiles* I saved someones life. That makes me feel good.
