I suppose it's also good that Satchmo won't be repeatedly digging up and snacking on Fowler anymore...
And "Shark-Shit" sounds like a well-deserved ending for both Kramer and Fowler... (Especially Kramer; I -- and I think Neal and Peter -- ended up feeling just a little more sympathetic to Fowler after hearing about his dead wife and how he'd then been entrapped and blackmailed into his role).
On another note: WHAT is it with TPTB at "White Collar" and naming their Bad Guys with sound-alike names? KramER, FowLER, KelLER... IIRC, there was at least one point in your story where you said "Fowler" and I initially read it as "Kramer". Someone should send Jeff Eastin a list of Potential Villain Names that aren't white-bread WASP-ish, say, Kowalski, Gutierrez, Santorini, Chang, Bachmann, Limbaugh, Santorum...

Well, I'm not sure how much Neal was sympathetic to Fowler... but I was, a little.

Exactly! Just yesterday, I accidentaly wrote Keller instead of Kramer - can't they give these guys more different names? BTW - you forgot AdLER. It looks like anytime these characters appear, they turn out bad. Does Eastin have a grudge against someone with similar name, or something? I'm starting to feel sorry for all those -(L)ER guys out there... :D
If it were done when ’tis done, then ’twere well. . . um, done.
Just wonderful, that's all. This is the kind of wholesale gore that I have loved since I was just a kid. I know it's not everybody's dish, mainly because my mom tried to have me committ--well, we won't go there.
This wonderful fic has somewhat reconciled me to Season 3.
Since WC is the first fandom I've ever followed, I'm interested in questions like who wrote the fic about Fowler getting dug up periodically. I kind of think it was Elrhiarhodan (My Dog Knows Where the Bones Are Hid just popped into my head). But what I am wondering is whether as time goes by people stop bothering to keep track of the origin of things like that and they (the things) are just assimilated into accepted fanon? It's kind of a problem when there's a perfect place for such a reference in a fic, but I don't know whether I need to chase down the source and credit it.
Hi there! You got the right author, but you've (understandably) mixed up two fics
My Dog (knows where the bones are hid) should have been the name of the story you're thinking of - but I had already used it. "My Dog" was a ficlet I wrote during early S2 when Peter was hiding the music box from Neal.
You want Down in the Willow Garden. The one where Satchmo keeps digging up Fowler's body buried in the Burkes' backyard. The title is a reference to the old Appalachian murder song recorded by Art Garfunkel.
Yay, Down in the Willow Garden - that's the story I was referring to! It's such a beautiful mix of morbid fun and a little harmless porn. Love that fic :D I hope you don't mind I borrowed the idea :)
It's actually kind of funny, because it was the post-Judgment Day discussion at your journal that led me to write this story. I put some of my thoughts into a short, ironic dialogue between Kramer and Peter - and then I realized I was staring at the beginning of something that had the potential to become more. So instead of posting the comment, I elaborated it, gave it a plot and brought in Diana, Neal, Jones and Mozzie - and eventually, it developed into this story :D

“Poor Mozzie,” said Peter compassionately and patted his knee. “You have to put up with us pervs and our orgies.”
LOL at the creepy doll, and Jones's unlimited Navy friends.
This fandom needs more crack, for great lolz! :D

I agree with Neal and Diana and Mozzie, though: the poor sharks are going to get indigestion! Someone call the ASPCA!

Needed a cracktastic fix-it/ep tag for Judgment Day. And this fit the bill perfectly.
