BUT! About your grades
don't worry, really! NO college cares about your grades in middle school - what matters is that you get into all honors classes in high school. Make sure your parents have you get into those. Also, do lots of extracurricular activies, like clubs, play an instrument, community service, ect. Grades matter more in high school, but extracurriculars REALLY matter.
A lot of students who do well in middle and elementary school don't do well later in academia, so college's really don't care. As for me, I did terrible in elementary and middle school. I started to improve in 7th grade, enough to get into honors classes in high school, but really, I was a B student (which is pretty bad for the low grades ^^; though decent for the high grades)... I had parent-teacher conferences over doing poorly in my classes. I got an F-- on one of my state exams; I could never pass Multiplication/Division tests within the time limit. But I did well in high school, and was accepted to all the schools I applied to.
=) So don't worry! You should enjoy your life now, while you still have a lot of freedom ^__^ Life only gets busier, believe it or not ^^;;;
