party party !!!
Good morning!!! I really had a nice weekend.
We went to Lipa, Batangas for my cousin Karla's debut party last Saturday. Although I hadn't sleep yet because I came from night shift with OTY until 10am, I still went to attend the party. I said I'll just sleep in the car while we're on our way to Batangas. Luckily, I was able to sleep for about 2 hours in the car. My sister was not with us because it's WNCAA's opening and they already have a game at 2pm (she's part of the basketball varsity team of MC). So it was just my mom, my brother and I.

We arrived at Lipa at around 6pm. We checked in the hotel first to get dressed then we proceeded to San Fernando Airbase, where the party is. The place was nice, though it was pretty dark outside 'cause there were no lamp posts. But when we went inside, the setting was nice. The room was decorated in 3 different shades of blue, with a lot of flowers at the front stage. I liked the color of Karla's gown (and so that of tita Neris, Celine and France cause they wore the same color... family eh?); it was a nice shade of blue, but it has a hint of sea green. The food was not so great though, and I feel like the program was so long (or maybe because I was really feeling sleepy). There was the opening, the 18 roses, the 18 candles (I was part of the candles), the 18 gifts, the 18 balloons, the 18 butterflies, greetings of the parents, disco part (loved this part!), and ending (continued drinking session of the olds).

I really had fun dancing! I felt like I was in my college gimik days, haha! Then after the disco-dancing, I felt sleepy again because it's the olds time again. We're still not leaving cause the olds still has their drinking session. My cousins and I are already tired, but we all agreed that we're gonna go swimming when we get back at the hotel. So we just waited until the olds let us go back at the hotel. Then they were asking for people to sing (yes, there's videoke there). And when my tita's or tito's won't sing, I said to my cousin Aiya, me I wanna sing cause I'm getting bored and sleepy. So she volunteered me to sing... haha! They don't need to convince me to sing, so when they called me, I stood up and sang.. hehe!
After my song number, finally, we will be heading back to the hotel. And even if it's sooo cold, we went swimming! The pool water was not warm (this is Batangas, not Laguna my dears). After a few minutes, I got out of the pool cause I really can't stand the cold. But then my cousin JP pushed me into the pool with my towel! sheesh! But 'twas fun fun fun time with my cousins. =) We got out of the pool by 3am, when the care taker came and asked us to (we are allowed to swim only until 3am).

On the way back to our rooms, we found our titos and titas continuing their drinking sessions, and they were talking about my mom and dad getting back together. My dad was actually on the phone.. ha! My tita Jewel told us that my dad is planning to go back to the Philippines two years after my sister graduates from college. And they were joking my mom "together again." Boy, when my dad comes home, I dont know if I'll be happy or what. I feel like I don't know him... he's a stranger to us. I suddenly felt envious of my cousin Karla... she has her dad by her side. Anyway, I refuse to go back to that crappy moments. I'm being happy here ok?
Ok, enough. Breakfast time!
