Waiting for some copies
So.. I thought I would take the minute to update my journal since I am sitting around waiting for print-outs in the library. It's the day before Thanksgiving and I just don't feel like I'm on vacation. I was planning to go up to Toronto this weekend but sadly had to cancel my trip because I have too much research to do. I feel really bad since my family was really excited to see me and I cancelled the plans yesterday.
I didn't have a choice though. I have to write two papers this vacation. Two long and horrible papers. I just don't understand why teachers assign so much work over vacations. It's not like people just sit around doing nothing. We have family and friends. We have lives. I bet you they're sitting around having a good time with their friends and family, but then they subject us to a life in the library.
