Wonderful day off
I had such a wonderful day off work yesterday!
I spent the morning putting up Christmas decorations, which always puts me into such a great mood. In the evening Chris and Matt invited me over to watch movies & talk, and simply enjoy each others company. One of the movies we watched was Mr and Mrs Smith, a movie I'd recommend to anyone looking for a light-hearted fun shoot-em-up movie. At points we got into a rather deep conversation, got to clear my head out a bit and staighten out some rather obvious choices I had to make.. sometimes the simply smile of friends makes those right choices you already know to be right so much easier to actual reach. I dont know if they really knew how extream the options were, and I supose it doesnt matter now... I just thank Goddess that I've got such great friends that can help straighten me out and make me feel better even when only knowing a sliver of the problem.
A little later in the evening Matt gave me a dancing lession. It just raised my spirit and put me on cloud 9 to be spinning around like a fool and twirling, bumping hips, and just plain and simply enjoying life. Later (around 3am'ish) he came up to my aparment and while we sipped hotchocolate he took time to give me tips on a few other things, taking extra time to help me understand things just right. Its so cute the way Queenie loves him so much, she jsut adors curling up in his lap and purrs away. I let him have some cat-nip to give her and pixie... the effects kicked in pretty fast, though showed more then anything after he left and I was trying to get to sleep as the cats trampled on the bed sprinting around the room. Oh well, I love em all :)
Well, time for bed... I'm in the basement of my bulding right now using the computers in our 24/7 lounge since my computer still needs to be fixed. At least this is really useful ... there's also a 51" TV with DVD and VHS player, card tables, a microwave, big leather couches... yep.. this building sure is nice! :D
