Why I love Ebony Belton
I went to see Narnia with Ebony Belton tonight. She cracks me up! I haven't hung out with her in awhile.
First of all we got in the slowest line ever at the concession stand. Ebony, referring to the cashier, said 'He must be the stupidest person in America, easily.' Which I think could be true because I heard the manager say to him 'Well is her bill is $12 and she gave you a twenty she gets eight dollars back.'
Then as we waited some guy was listlessly wiping down the counters. Ebony was like, 'Can't he be behind the counter helping?' To which I said 'He looks like he just started. Maybe he can't run the register.' She- 'Well he can fill a cup with soda can't he?'
But the best was when we were actually in the theatre. The little boy sitting beside Ebony was in a foul mood. Ebony leans into me and says, 'Oh this jackass has decided he doesn't want to see the movie. Look at him. I will not hesitate to kick him in the teeth if he ruins this for me.' I laughed at that all through the movie, which I enjoyed. If you're reading this and don't know Ebony you probably think she's some ghetto rat but she is completely the opposite! She's intelligent and very social.
We're going to see Aeon Flux next weekend. I'll keep you informed on the witty banter.
