Languages, languages, lingvoj!
What is so special about languages and why are they being mentioned in this liveJournall entry? Simple! Because this is my online journal per se, and right now I'm dealing alot with various languages! Incredible!!!
Firstly, I have continued study in the international language Esperanto, and am going to be putting this study to good use this weekend; attending the annual National Congress for ELNA, the Esperanto League of North America. It's incrazy-edible! I'll be immersed in Esperanto for 5 days, meeting thousands of Esperantists from all over the continent! And sleeping on an apartment floor in Manhattan! Woohooo!!
Also: I've been (unfortunately for my tan...) doing a fair amount of web development. I'm learning database-driven web design by means of PHP and MySQL, and my baby project is currently a new site for Henry's VIII that will include a forum and archives of all past members and past songs.
Speaking of web design! I now have a web-design site (to be expanded) and am working on my first official commisioned website for pay. Click on the banner at the bottom of this post to see it.
